The Dress Studio

The Dress Studio is a boutique or retail establishment that specialises in offering a diverse range of dresses for various occasions. As one of Morgan Digital's first clients are partnership has seen several projects completed over the years, with the most recent being tasked with redesigning their E-commerce store & migrating from WooCommerce to Shopify.

The projected involved a comprehensive redesign and migration of the E-commerce website, ensuring minimal disruption to the day-to-day business operations. Our objective was to create a cohesive and user-friendly online shopping experience that integrates both in-store and buy online products. The redesign needed to enhance the visual appeal and navigation of the website but also optimise the overall functionality for improved performance and scalability.

The initial phase of our project involved a redesign of the website on the Shopify platform. To align with the brand image, we carefully selected an elegant theme that not only reflected the essence of The Dress Studio but also facilitated easy navigation for a smooth user experience. The design set the stage for an engaging and visually appealing user interface that would resonate with the clients audience.

As part of the redesign, we took a customised approach by developing custom coded tailored product pages. These templates were specifically designed to effectively segregate between buy online and 'in-store only' products. Upon approval of the design, our team formulated a detailed plan for the migration process. This involved transferring all products to the new Shopify platform while minimising disruption to the day-to-day operations of the website.
