Il Cortile had cultivated a fantastic reputation for its exquisite cuisine and intimate, welcoming atmosphere. However, their existing website was dated, difficult to navigate, and failed to capture the restaurant’s unique charm. It didn’t showcase their food effectively and wasn’t optimised for mobile bookings, creating friction for potential diners.
This disconnect extended to their in-house menus, which lacked the premium, sophisticated feel of the food and decor. The challenge was to create a unified visual identity that felt authentic and elevated across all critical customer touchpoints.

We designed and developed a new website focused on immersion and ease of use. High-quality photography and videography now take centre stage, telling the story of the food and the restaurant’s ambience. We integrated a streamlined online booking system and ensured the mobile experience was flawless, allowing customers to easily reserve a table or view the menu while on the go.
To complete the experience, we redesigned their entire suite of in-house menus. Using elegant typography, a refined colour palette, and a layout that is both beautiful and easy to read, the new menus now serve as a true reflection of the quality on the plate. By sharing a consistent design language, the website and menus work together to create a memorable and holistic brand experience.
