Which Shopify Pricing Plan Is Best For Me?
Choosing the right Shopify pricing plan for you is relatively easy, and the good news is that Shopify makes it super simple to scale up to another level if and when you need to.
Shopify Lite: It is $9 per month and is designed for those who want to add a small eCommerce functionality to their existing site. It works on almost all platforms such as Wix, WordPress and Squarespace. It adds the ability to add buy buttons or links to enable purchases without needing a full blow eCommerce solution. It is suitable for those who maybe only have 10 products or less; anything more than that and a total eCommerce solution will be needed.
Basic Shopify: If you are looking for an online store but only want the basics of what Shopify offers, then the basic plan is the one for you. It includes Shopify hosting, unlimited products, SSL certificate, blog functions and 24/7 support.
Shopify: Everything in the Shopify basic plan but with added features such as email marketing and abandoned cart functions that aid your digital marketing and also added benefit of reduced payment handling fees.
Advanced Shopify: Everything in the basic and Shopify plans and then additions such as third party shipping calculations, advanced reporting, and further reduced payment handling fees.
Shopify Plus: is for enterprise-level businesses that need something completely bespoke and integrated with existing supply chain parameters.
Those are very high-level explanations of what each package offers to give you an idea of the one that suits you and your business. With each level, there is the benefit of the payment processing fees reducing which if you are selling enough products it can cover the additional monthly subscription fees.
